Courtauld CommitmentCourtauld Commitment 2025

GMWDA is proud to be part of this agreement and is actively working to raise awareness of food waste with support from the 9 waste collection authorities in Greater Manchester. Through our partnership with WRAP we promote the Love Food Hate Waste campaign to reduce food waste.

Courtauld 2025 is an ambitious voluntary agreement that brings together organisations across the food system – from producer to consumer – to make food and drink production and consumption more sustainable.

At its heart, is a ten-year commitment to identify priorities, develop solutions and implement changes at scale – both within signatory organisations and by spreading new best practice across the UK.

Resource Greater Manchester

We established a 2-year partnership with Wrap, called Resource Greater Manchester (RGM) to drive up recycling and prevent waste across the conurbation.  The partnership will provide a strategic programme of work to help Greater Manchester achieve its ambitions towards ‘zero waste’.
