Oldham

There is one Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC) in Oldham. The HWRC is open all year round and are only closed on Christmas day and New Year's day.

 The Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC) at Chandos Street, Shaw has now closed permanently.  Please visit an alternative site.

What you can recycle here:

Asbestos, Batteries, Books, Cans, Cardboard, Cell Batteries, Chemicals, Computer Monitors, Fluorescent Tubes, Fridge/Freezer, Gas Bottles, Glass, Green Waste, Laptops, Non Ferrous Scrap, Oil (engine and cooking), Paper, Plastic Bottles, Rubble, Scrap Metal, TVs, Tyres, WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) Wood.

This site has a height barrier of 2 metres (approx 6ft 6inches)
