Reduce
A lot of waste is generated by buying more than we need to. The best thing we can do is to reduce the amount of waste we make in the first place.
Not everything we buy can be re-used or recycled so it is important to think about how to reduce our waste, both at home and when we go shopping. This will help produce less waste and can even save us money.
By using our purchasing power we can help put pressure on manufactures to reduce the amount of packaging on the products they make. Buying only what we really need also helps to reduce the amount of waste we make.
