Recycle for Tameside

Tameside residents have boosted our recycling rate from 8.83% in 2003/04 to a massive 27.09% in 2007/08
- Our blue bin paper collection covers all household in the borough
- Our brown bin garden waste scheme covers all households with gardens
- The rollout of Managed Collectionscommenced in September 08 and has enabled residents to recycle their glass, plastic bottles and cans in their green bin.
Residents can also recycle their waste at 60 bring-sites across the borough as well as 2 Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRCs).
