Entwisle Road Facility, Rochdale Re-Opening For Trade Waste

In consultation with Rochdale MBC and in recognition of the need for waste facilities for small businesses and local traders, GMWDA is making arrangements for the Entwisle Road facility to re-open for use for mixed trade waste with effect from 9th March 2009. The site had been closed to traders in January 2008.

Waste will be charged for, and the facility will be available for an interim period. This is because a new facility is under construction for the Authority at Waithlands in Rochdale which will provide capacity for the future.

Due to the restricted available space on this site reception of segregated waste or materials separated for recycling (e.g.: wood, cardboard, garden waste) will not be possible.
