Love Food Hate Waste
Greater Manchester Waste Disposal Authority (GMWDA) in partnership with the 10 districts of Greater Manchester and Viridor Laing (Greater Manchester) Limited (VLGM) and supported by the Waste Resources Action Programme (WRAP) are running the Love Food Hate Waste Campaign. The campaign encourages residents to think about their food waste and reduce the amount they throw away.
LOVE FOOD HATE WASTE PASS IT ON DAY
To strengthen the Love Food Hate Waste message we are hosting ‘Pass It On’; inviting community leaders, local clubs, charities, schools, or just good neighbours to become Love Food Hate Waste Champions.
You are therefore invited to join us at the Orangery, Heaton Park on the 30th of March 2011 for the free Pass It On event. There you will receive a short brief about the campaign so far and the Pass It On message, whilst afterwards, over a buffet lunch, you will have the opportunity to meet the Greater Manchester Love Food Hate Waste Team and discuss ideas to pass the message on and run your own events. Each attendee will be given their very own free Love Food Hate Waste resources pack, filled with all the essential items needed to run your own successful Love Food Hate Waste events.
