Trainee/Governance-Senior Officer
Salary: Scale 5 – SO1/2 (depending on level of experience – Please see job description for further details)
Hours: 36 hours and 15 minutes

An opportunity has arisen to play a role within the decision-making process of the Authority. Working as part of the Governance team you will be responsible for undertaking the servicing and administration for formal decision making processes, including arranging and co-ordinating meetings with various members. In addition, you will act as an advisor to the decision making, ensuring it is compliant with legal requirements and responsive to authority needs and Policy Framework.

The role offers an opportunity for development and progression. In order to apply you will need a minimum of one year’s administration experience or educated to degree standard. To be considered for the top end of the scale you must be able to demonstrate significant experience in a Governance (democratic/constitutional Services) role.

All applicants must be able to demonstrate strong organisation and excellent written and communication skills.
